This Italianate building, built
in 1928, has the most extensive use of unglazed terra cotta decorative
work in Jackson Heights. Of special note, are terra-cotta aprons, shields
and swags under the top floor windows; red terra-cotta roof pendices,
battlements, finials, and urns and along the parapets. On the ground
level are three hexagonal windows with original iron grillwork. The
projecting brick work and pair of towers flanking the main entry give this
building a stately and elegant
presence.
