About Educational Programs
The Queens Historical Society offers guided tours through the historic Kingsland Homestead as well as online, document-based teaching aids to help students understand slavery and explore the connection between the Underground Railroad and New York City. The aids are designed to help students gain a better understanding of the importance of New York City and New York State in terms of the history of slavery in the United States.

For more information on other educational programs and guided tours, please feel free to contact us via phone at 718-939-0647 ext. 17.
