About Collections
The Queens Historical Society's collections encompass all 300 years
of the history of Queens in various different materials and formats,
including photography, manuscripts, maps and artworks. Soon, samples
of the Society's largest and most popular manuscript collections,
including the Mitchell Family Papers, the King Family Papers, the
Clara Driscoll/Walcott Family Papers and the Diary of William King
Murray, will be available online, where viewers can peruse transcripts
and high-quality scans of the documents themselves. Check back for
